Invitation and information “card” for evite!
This couple had a curveball thrown at them in 2020 in the midst of planning their wedding event. The pandemic made for an unusual (& interesting!) invitation design process. Originally, I had pitched a gate-fold printed invitation with wildflowers on the outside and an illustration of Manhasset Bay with all the event information on the inside. The couple wanted to forgo the florals and highlight their seaside locale, and I loved the distinctive look of the seagull themed crest option.
Once the event needed to be redesigned, made more intimate, and change venues, we redesigned the invitation to suit evite options as well. We went through a few iterations before landing on the appropriate format. The final design features a portrait of the couple’s beloved boat!
